The room was newly decorated and complete with a garden view which was lovely. The price was gbp 9. Convenient location, we where close enough to the bus station and the town centre, the Riverside market too and cafes, money changer, massage nearby. It also was yet close to the Mekong river.

We recently stayed at a charming Bed & Breakfast in Savannakhet and had a wonderful experience. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, treating us like family during our stay. The room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, creating a cozy and homely atmosphere. We also enjoyed the convenience of the location, with plenty of restaurants and stores nearby. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as the lack of a door to the toilet and the need for cash payment upfront, we enjoyed our time at Vanpila. I highly recommend this lovely B&B for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Savannakhet.

We had a wonderful stay at this homestay located in a quiet street yet close to the Riverside market and the Mekong river. The hotel facilities are fantastic, and the room was clean and beautifully decorated, with blackout wooden shutters ensuring a great night's rest. Nico, the owner, was extremely helpful and provided us with a good introduction to the city upon arrival. The garden was a pleasant place to relax and meet other guests.
Nothing all excellent.

Stayed here during Easter and had the best time. the room was spotlessly clean and very nicely decorated. Loved the fact that tea and coffee were provided, and you could buy chilled beers whenever you felt like it. great location, it was easy to get to both the bus station and the town center. And there is always someone ready to offer you help and advice.
The only downside, and it's really not that big a deal, was that there wasn't any breakfast on offer. And the electric shower could have been slightly hotter.

Guests have raved about the comfortable beds and attention to detail in the design of the rooms. Other facilities include tea and coffee making facilities, chilled beers in the fridge, and helpful hosts who offer help whenever needed.
Some guests mentioned that the garbage and litter in the surrounding area was a bit of a turn off, though they acknowledged that it was out of the hotel's control.
